Terms of Service

Last updated: October 23, 2026

These terms apply to the Sheet to Docs website and Google Sheets add-on. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

Sheet to Docs turns spreadsheet rows into personalized Google Docs and PDFs and helps you email the resulting documents. You need a Google account, the necessary file permissions, and authorization to use the spreadsheet, templates, and recipient information you provide.

2. Your content and responsibilities

You retain ownership of your content. You authorize us and the platforms we use to process it only as necessary to provide the service. You are responsible for the accuracy of your data and templates, the rights to use them, and reviewing outputs before relying on or sending them.

Verify recipients and attachments before sending. You are responsible for obtaining any required consent and complying with applicable privacy, marketing, and anti-spam rules. Do not use the service for unlawful activity, unsolicited bulk messaging, fraud, infringement, or attempts to bypass Google’s restrictions.

3. Free use and subscriptions

The free version currently allows up to 3 records to be generated per batch. An active subscription removes that product generation limit. Prices, billing intervals, and applicable taxes are shown at checkout; no price displayed elsewhere overrides the checkout terms you accept.

Subscriptions are handled through Stripe and renew according to the billing terms shown at purchase unless canceled. Use the add-on’s Billing Portal to manage or cancel your subscription, or contact support for help. Cancellation takes effect according to your subscription’s billing terms. For billing issues or refund requests, email us; any mandatory consumer rights remain applicable.

4. Google and other platform limits

Your use also depends on Google’s permissions, sending quotas, file conversion limits, execution limits, and service availability. A Sheet to Docs subscription does not raise Google’s quotas or guarantee email delivery. The remaining quota displayed in the app is an estimate returned by Google at the time it is checked and can change.

Keep the dialog open while generation or sending is in progress. A failed or interrupted request may require you to review the files, send history, or recipient status before retrying. An accepted email-send request does not guarantee delivery to the recipient’s inbox.

5. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes access to Google account data, storage, service providers, and your choices. Your use of Google, Stripe, and other third-party services is also subject to their applicable terms.

6. Availability and changes

We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue features, or restrict use that violates these terms. We may update these terms and identify the current version by its date. Material changes affecting a paid subscription will be communicated where required by applicable law.

7. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free output, or suitability for a particular purpose. You should keep appropriate backups and independently check important documents.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost data, misdirected messages, or interruptions arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or limits rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

8. Contact
